So this is Christmas… and what have YOU done?

What could YOU do?
What could YOU give?

Young carers face many challenges that can have a huge impact on their lives. Often feeling isolated, with few or no friends, they are at a higher risk of being bullied at school, experiencing depression, and even self-harming. Many struggle to balance their caring responsibilities with schoolwork. Unfortunately, these challenges are compounded by the current cost-of-living crisis. They often get no support as they are unseen by schools, society, and the government.

Through our work, we relive the isolation, stress, anxiety, and loneliness that Young Carers feel. We take them away from their role and let them be children, enjoying trips and activities that they would usually not be able to go on. Our services connects them with other children in similar roles to them, where they can speak freely about their lives and experiences. We promote the understanding of young carers by liaising with schools, and we offer emotional support and counselling.
